About theInput.net
theInput.net is a collection of links related to politics, science, gaming, technology and the random fun link that we find on our travels through the Internets.
About Ed
I'm part of a college residential life staff by day (and night) for the job, and a linguist, scientist, gamer, reader, and collector by hobby. Son of a chemist and biologist, and lover of Physics, so you know I'm a nerd. I'm fascinated by Asian culture and Japanese language. Baking is an art form I very much enjoy.
I'm also a technology and gaming news writer at Homotron.net and GayGamer.net, where you will find me under the pseudonym "Den Den Boy," named after Osaka's famous 電気の町 or "Den Den Town."
The Strengths Philosophy tells me my top two strengths are Input and Learner, and I couldn't agree more. If it's new, and I can learn from it, I want it. Myers-Briggs says I'm an INTJ, so beware the Mastermind.
If you want to have a philosophical debate (and I mean a debate, not an argument), or discuss the meaning of life, I'm all for it. I'm usually the guy that brings up sex, politics, and religion in a group. I don't much care for the social taboos placed upon those subjects, as I usually find their discussion the most interesting.
I've lived in Caracas and Valle de la Pascua in Venezuela; Houston, TX and Miami, FL in the United States; and Icod de los Vinos in Tenerife, Spain.

About Clarke
I'm a grad assistant at a local research university studying linguistics. I'd love to be a polyglot, but I don't have fluency in enough languages to consider myself one. I'm also a polymath- and autodidact-in-training. You can call me "Iron Chef Small Kitchen Appliances."
Ed and I share the "signature theme" this blog gets its name from. It seems more often that I'm just the crazier one. Input is my #2, Intellection my #1. This means that my train of thought is about as stable as a grey squirrel that just bit into a coffee bean thinking it was a peanut. Myers-Briggs rates me as INFP or INTP. It hasn't made up its mind yet.
I'm a native of Miami, but the stereotypes aren't always true.

Inspiration and thanks go to Jason Kottke of kottke.org, BoingBoing, and many other blogs from whom I absorb vast amounts of information.
Thanks also go out to those friends and family who were patient enough to deal with my continuous prodding for comments regarding the site design and logo. The site was improved immensely by your input.
